Spring has arrived in full splendour across the grounds of Stewton House. With gentle sunshine brightening the Lincolnshire countryside, our residents have been eager to step outside and experience the seasonal transformation of our four-acre private parkland.

Our estate features wide, level paved loops specifically designed for unhurried walking with mobility aids and wheelchairs. Accompanied by members of our dedicated care staff and visiting relatives, residents have been strolling through the sensory rose garden, listening to the morning bird song, and watching the blooming daffodils and snowdrops flourish.

“There is something remarkably therapeutic about stepping out into the fresh Lincolnshire air after breakfast,” says our lead activities coordinator. “Even a quiet twenty minutes seated on the sun verandah with a warm cup of tea lifts spirits and encourages restful sleep later in the evening.”

Families visiting their loved ones are always welcome to join these leisurely strolls. With open visiting hours throughout the week, many choose to spend gentle afternoons together wandering through the estate before returning to the warmth of our Victorian conservatory.
